Ana Casaca

As Head of Global Innovation at Galp, she has more than 20 years of experience in innovation and technology transfer. She has worked at various companies, including the José de Mello Group, Worten, and Sonae. She began her career as a researcher in San Francisco on a Fulbright scholarship. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the Portuguese Catholic University and an MBA from Porto Business School.

In December 2025, she was appointed to the board of the European Commission’s European Innovation Council (EIC).
